So we shall in this project take a sober look at chance and find that it is neither good nor evil - it’s simply a very inclusive and powerful way to understand the evolution of the universe - and often ourselves.

In the primal eras of our humanity, chance came to us, perhaps, as our greatest nemesis. We invoked the omens and the gods to offer various intersessions to protect us against the vicissitudes and randomness of these demons.
