Like an attorney in court, I shall advance powerful evidence of the veracity of these ideas by presenting four evidentiary exhibits - examples that come right out of modern science - that once formidable adversary of the notion that chance dominates the unfolding of the universe. This former adversary has lately "done a 180” and has become a chief proponent of the idea of the prominence of chance.

And I shall introduce these four branches of modern science as my exhibits A, B, C, and D. They are, in turn, the adaptive immune system, the theory of evolution, statistical mechanics, and, “exhibit A” - quantum mechanics. And yes, I am going to take my best shot at revealing the heart of these matters (as I see it) in accessible, common sense, relevent and, I hope, inspiring presentations.
